We’ve locked in the 2025 date!

Well, are you ready to go again? We certainly are! The Moggill Marathon 2025 preparations are underway and we want to share the updates and plans for next year’s event, and also how you can help us to make another amazing day.

The 2024 event was a great success. 955 Runners and Walkers came out, had a great time, and we raised over $30k for charity. With this in mind, our team have created the vision to raise $500k for children’s cancer charities and community groups, by the year 2032. This aligns our 10 year anniversary and the Brisbane Olympics and Paralympics. Everyone needs a vision and to dream big? We have raised $74k to date, we welcome you to help us achieve this dream.

Our event build up starts again now. We are seeking sponsors, so please check out our packages and if you or your business are keen, please get in touch for a chat about options. Sponsorship makes the event happen. It is all about partnership and a lot of fun along the way.

The marathon course worked really well in 2024. Now we are planning to have the courses officially measured and AIMS certified (Association of International Marathons and Distance Races) to add a greater level of professionalism and accuracy, also assisting us with event day logistics. We will be seeking some new design work to create maps once officially certified. If you are handy with graphic design, and have some time to contribute, please get in touch.

Super Early Bird registrations have opened and we are currently discounting 20% off the standard price. We will be running this until the end of year, so take advantage of this. Our prizes will be up for grabs, and after some large, and very closely contested school team entries in 2024, we are looking to see more of the same next year 🙂

We will bring in minor improvements where we can, such as improving the flow of runners at the finish line, more toilets, having fruit stalls and some tunes at water stations. The feedback we had from runners was wonderful and acknowledged. What remains the same is that the Moggill Marathon is for the whole community, where Runners and Walkers come to compete, achieve personal goals or enjoy having fun and connect with family and friends. All with the aim of raising money to give back into the community.

Please get in touch if you have any ideas or support which can help towards delivering this fantastic event into the community and assisting the good causes we support.
